It's a very long time ago bui I'm pretty sure shelll fenders were a factory option in the '60s. I think this ceased to be a choice from the time when safety cabs (Flexi or Rigid) were introduced (1970?). 100 Series had flat top wings with alloy handles on the front in the 60s until around 1968. Shell fenders made a come-back in 1983 on the 230 and were very well received by the market gardeners in the Vale of Evesham - a bit like the Channel Islands perhaps.

Thanks for the info the 135 I have seen or driven had flat top wings but shell ones would make it better to see on row crop work in crops such as spuds.Regards Alan
